Looking at a development in my old stomping grounds and found this! -Nampa-Gateway

I did not know Regal still built Edwards Theatres... this should prove interesting! Any other info??

Regal opened Edwards Eastvale Gateway Stadium 14 in Southern California in December 2007. They still use the Edwards name in areas where the Edwards name is more well known than Regal. The neon Edwards sign is about the only thing that looks like an Edwards Cinema. The inside of the theater looks very much like a Regal Cinema. Although, there are some Edwards style elements that have shown up in some Regal Cinemas. For example, some Regal Cinemas built in the past few years have Edwards Cinema carpeting.

The auditoriums at Edwards were always better than Regals. The auds themselves were nice and wide with curved screens. Although their latter day stadium seating auds were ripe with top down masking screens, I still preferred them to Regal.

I wish we had better pictures (isn't that always the case?) but this Regal in Miami struck me as very Edwards-ish, or at least very much how Regal builds the new Edwards.

Kendall Village 16

Although this is the only actual NEW Edward's I've been to.
