Mike, for Washington state:

Kent Station 14 is still an AMC theatre, not transferred to Galaxy.

Mountlake 9 has always been Regal since acquisition from Act III. Never belonged to Galaxy.

It's Grauman's Chinese, not Grumman's Chinese.

And the Wilshire Screening Room is a private screening room, not a regular theatre.

Mike -- as for North American to SR Entertainment... that's a local independent chain near where I live and how to post their history has me a little confused. Regardless it's all the same chain with different theatres in different legal entities.

At one point it was San Carlos Cinemas then Theatre Services then North American Cinemas and now SR Entertainment Group. To me it doesn't quite qualify as anything noteworthy, just a company re-marketing itself.

Some corrections in 2008 Connecticut list:

Bloomfield 8 is not, and has never been, owned by Bow Tie. It was formerly owned by Entertainment Cinemas and reopened as an independent cinema, not a chain.

Gallery Cinemas in Colchester opened in 1999 and has operated continuously since, it did not open or close in 2008.

Showcase Cinemas Orange was in Orange, not New Haven and closed on March 3.

Showcase Cinemas East Windsor closed March 2 not Feb. 25.

Meriden 10 Cinemas closed in the fall (you didn't include it).
