Wrong! You must be thinking of the Weir Theater just down the street from the D&R.

As a matter of fact the D&R is currently under restoration. They just took the marquee down for replication on August 7th.

John Yonich is the new owner of the D&R Theater and is spending some big money to restore it.

Ken Layton, Craig Hyland, and I went by the D&R yesterday. It's still under restoration, but it has a great new paint job and beautiful new marquee. Photos from our jaunt coming soon!
