The only theatre I have listed in Lancaster, TX between 1943 and 1955 is the Grand Theatre (I have no address for it), so this is probably it.

I know this theatre in Lancaster, Texas. I reopened this theatre with a friend in 1971. The picture shows restoration to the front. The name of the theatre at that time was the Grand. We only operated it for a year. At that time the city and surrounding areas had not developed. I do remember the year of the crickets at this theatre, everyday at least 3 hours to sweep them up. The smell was really bad.
