Eric,;
Sorry to say I missed going to the Coronet. I found myself in the Castro area on Sunday night (my last night in town) and went to see 'Broadway:The Golden Age' at the Castro Theater where they had the organ playing and a q&a with the director of the film.

I did take exterior photo's of the Coronet last week and was even going to see 'Phantom' there when I first arrived in SF, but found it had been taken off.

Did you go to the last performance and take any pics?

I probably won't be going to the last performance, but there are pictures I took of the theatre posted here on Cinematour.

Adam;
Many thanks for your excellent company and hospitality on the great afternoon & evening 'Cinematour' you escorted me on, in the South Bay area.

I was most impressed with the 'dome' styled cinemas of the Bay area you showed me and which we toured. I had only previously thought that the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, CA to be a one off. How wrong I was [Embarrassed]

Looking forward to doing something similar again on my next visit to CA, or wherever we can hook up.

Actually, I will be in Los Angeles again in June 2005 attending and co-organising the THSA "California Dreaming" Conclave. I am also in charge of the two days 'afterglow' visit to San Diego.

I will let you all know the exact dates I will be around closer to the time. Also watch out for me in NYC in late May 2005 if there are any CinemaTour members in that city who would like to meet up and do some theater tours! [Smile] I know I am planning to do the Bronx this time around.

It would be great to see you again Ken. However, I will be in Boston, Montreal and New York from 6/9 - 6/20.

Unless you are here sooner or after.

Well certainly be in LA after you return, as I will be there for the Theatre Historical Society of America 'Conclave' which runs from 21st June until 25th June and the I am in charge of the San Diego add-on on the 26/27th June. I will most likely stay a couple more days before returning to London, but that will be a Tuesday and Wednesday and I suppose you will be working? Maybe do dinner though? It would be great seeing you again and chat over what's been happening etc.

Before the Conclave I will be in LA for maybe a week prior to it beginning. My first stopover before travelling to LA will be to New York for about a week from around the 1st June.

Ken

Keep me posted on your NYC trip. I would be interested in some theatre hunting in the Bronx on your trip.
