Last summer when I was just a wee little threading usher, I believe 3 gentlemen stopped by my theater representing Cinematour and/or Film-Tech. Unfortunately, our company didn't allow interior pictures to be taken, but you guys did get to take pictures of our drive-in. I was just curious as to who it was because, at the time, I didn't visit the two websites and my memory is very vague. Do you remember stopping in and looking at the booths? I was the designated "tour guide" if you happen to remember much of the trip.

Hmmm... in Ohio? I've been to too many places to remember, but I know I haven't been to Ohio yet. Although 3 is sometimes the magic Cinematour number of people dorking around lookin at theatres.

Explain -- more -- more!!

That would be me and Scott (in Corpus). We will be in Texas next month and might come by to take more photos if we can get down that way.

Oh right -- Brad's trip to that place. I remember now.

Jeremy, you need to understand, we pulled up to your theatre the last time after having had people look at us like aliens from Mars just for wanting to take a picture of their theatre. My delicate ego can only handle so much rejection in one day.

But next time I'm down there, I'll stop by.

Robert, that was myself, plus Brad Carroll from Technicolor (the orange can people) and another fellow. Yours was the 6 plex? (Adam, why have you not copied his picture from FT?)

I met a couple of you there that day. Who was the fellow who took us over to the drive-in?

Can you send in pictures of your theater yet? [Smile]

Ah, sorry for the lack of details there; I was a bit tired when I posted that. Anyway, I do remember you, Brad, because I distinctly remember you mentioning that one of our projectors needed oil. At the time, I was certainly no more than an "operator" and that didn't quite register, but I'm sure you were right. [Wink] I work at the Chakeres Wilmington Plaza Cinema 5 by the way. I don't quite remember who it was that led you to the drive-in -- could've been the assistant manager out there since he also works at the "walk-in" as we call it.

If I could go back, I would've asked you all of the questions I possibly could have while you were there, but it was only after being separated from the projection booth (away at college, only to eventually transfer to a community college close to home) that I developed an appreciation for film exhibition and the business in general. But, hey, if you had never visited at all, then I might not have ever visited either of the websites, so I'm glad you stopped by. [Big Grin]

Alright guys, see yall then. If you cant make it, let me know, so I can stop being lazy myself, and take the pictures.

Edit:Alright, this time Adam wasnt too lazy to get down and take pics of the theater. [Big Grin] But I feel bad now, since I realized I didnt even offer him a drink or anything since I knew he was gonna be on the road a while..what a jerk.(me of course). [Big Grin]

I wonder how long it'll take me to find/post the photos of Jeremy's theater?
