This is more a personal trip than a research trip, but who can resist seeking out cinemas in the middle of nowhere?!

July 18-22.

Here we go ... and by "we", I mean that I'm breaking in a Cinematour virgin. We'll see if he can last the whole trip! [Big Grin]

How long is the trip? How long is a piece of string? In my current case, I have done 2 weeks in Southern California (North of LA to Santa Barbara, Inland Empire and more). Two weeks in Chicago (one week on my own, another with the Theatre Historical Society of America Conclave) and now into my 2nd week in New York City.

I have taken over 500 photos already on my new digial camera.

Now Adam, I think I can keep up with you If we ever do some research togeth. The thing is, can you keep up with me HaHaHa

Oh it feels nice to not be on a Cinematour trip. I'm just taking it easy all weekend. I would have gone but I have to work all next week opening a new theatre.

::sigh::

Woe is me.

Last I heard Adam and the Cinematour Virgin were having a splendid time. Adam was going to start pissing in the Mojave Desert to make mud for our new Megaplex we're going to build there. [Razz]

The Cinematour Virgin couldn't hack it. We made it to Flagstaff and ended up coming back. [Frown] But I did take photos of six or seven theaters there.

Note to Scott: Don't let me take Cinematour Virgins any farther than Fresno on their first trip.

Hehe ... I couldn't resist myself at the Flagstaff Mall. This one's just for Scott. [Cool]
