I have had numerous requests to find out what it feels and/or looks like to be out on the road visiting so many cinemas and taking so many photos.
Okay, so I only had one request from a close friend. But I'm going to tell you anyway!
This is what Scott looks like when he overdoses on Chick-fil-A while Adam prepares the trip maps:
That was a platter of 50 nuggets.
This is what Adam looks like when Scott is driving like a maniac, making U-turns in places where he ought not to because Adam can't read the maps:
So there you have it. Life on the road with Cinematour!

Well I stopped by a Chick-Fil-A this evening for one of Scott's favorite sandwiches and turns out that Tuesday is 2-fer day. Buy one get one free.

Oh my -- 2-for day?!?! They don't have such a thing out here in California to my knowledge. Out here Chick-fil-A is still a delicacy. Besides... the sandwiches are overrated. It's all about the nuggets baby.

OK, I get it now. We don't have those here in Fresno! Oh, my gosh! A CHAIN STORE that doesn't exist in Fresno?!?! There will be civil unrest once this gets out! (To borrow Scott Neff's phrase, Fresno is "Shopping Center Fantastic". People here ADORE chain restaurants/stores for some reason)
Aren't I a silly! Now I see Adam has provided a link to the Chick-Fil-A website in his post! So that's what that blue text is for!!

Using the handy restaurant locator, I see the nearest Chick-Fil-A is in San Luis Obispo! (Or as they say on ABC's Dragnet, SAINT Louis Obispo) Hm... They DO have a really nice drive-in in SLO...

Truett Cathy, the owner/founder of Chick-Fil-A, is VERY religious. As a matter of fact, one rumor I've heard is that they do not hire anyone who's not a Southern Baptist. Of course, many religious zealots feel that if they work on Sunday, they'll rot in damnation for life.
Sounds like I'll be eating what the Canadians call "PFK" for me...

We had one in Bakersfield at an indoor mall for a while, but it didnt last long. It was the only mall business not open on Sunday (this is not unprecedented. The Valley Plaza stores were always closed on Sundays back in the 60's. Only the theatre and Wyatt's Cafeteria wewre open Sundays.
