That was their flagship theatre! In fact, they shot their Coming Soon & Feature Presentation trailers there. Wonder if they'll reshoot them?

Sucks that they lost it...but, then again, maybe 6 screens of the dine-in concept mixed with another 6 screens as a regular theatre would have been the right way to go. 6 screens ain't gonna cut it in big markets. Ask the now deceased Mann Theatres...along with the folks currently operating Grauman's Chinese & the Chinese 6. ArcLight's eating them ALIVE!

What makes you think Mann Theaters is deceased they just dumped their losers but they are still alive and well. And AMC has been sold and is downsizing they have closed and sold a number of screens. AMC has also laid off most of their presentation managers.

Mann closed up operations last year! Theyhave no more theaters. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Visit what's left of their website and see for yourself.

Oh,Mann Theatres still exists..as a separate chain in Minnesota,started by Ted Mann's brother.

But,the main chain is,sadly,a thing of the past.
