I remember a Cinema 150 theater on Howe avenue, I believe. Am I correct? When did it close and when was it demolished? I saw "Jeremiah Johnson" there and it had a curved screen, but not a Cinerama-style one.

In a ad from Motion Picture Exhibitor from 12/04/1968 for United Artists Theatres. It listed the old Alhambra Theatre as being a D-150 theatre. The theatre was razed in 1973. I think this was the former Todd-AO house for the city.

I remember when the Alhambra was torn down - there was a real effort to save it. I was stationed at Beale AFB from 1969-1973 and spent lots of time in Sacramento. Many movie houses visited!
