The owners of the Raymond Theatre (formerly Perkin's Palace) have filed for Design Review of their proposed project. They will be requesting the City of Pasadena Design Commission give approval for their design concept to gut the Raymond Theatre and convert it to an apartment, retail, shopping complex.
Construction crews and engineers are inside the theatre now preparing for demolition.
The theatre owners are choosing to start building their project BEFORE the appellate courts make a decision on their proposed project.
We have a very good chance at stopping construction.
But we need $5,000 to take legal recourse to stop construction IMMEDIATELY!
Together the Pasadena community and people
worldwide have donated $3,000, but still need $2,000 to take action.
Time is running out!
In less than two weeks the Raymond Theatre will be gone forever!
We need donations of $25, $50, $100, $500, $1000 or more IMMEDIATELY.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
AJB Enterprises have filed an application with the City of Pasadena to
convert Pasadena's landmark Raymond Theatre and its adjacent parking lot into a
commercial/residential mixed-use development.
At this hearing, the Design Commission will review major new modifications
to the proposed development. Please join us and show your support for
preservation of the Raymond Theatre.

We have four days to the hearing.
