According to Regency Theatres website, UltraStar has sold Rialto Stadium 8 in Rialto, CA to Regency and dumped Terra Vista 6 off onto someone else in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Terra Vista 6 and Rialto 8 are both off the UltraStar's website and Terra Vista is running 2nd run movies free admissions until November 21 when it is expected to "resume 1st run titles" but tickets will be $6.00?! Anyword on what happened? Who owns TerraVista is it locally o & o now?

They also dropped the Towngate 8, in Moreno Valley, a few months back (picked up by Regency and reopened as a successful discount house). The Towngate was a direct result of Harkins' theatre cutting in to their business. I'd assume the other theatres were leases that had expired and/or underperforming venues (i.e. I haven't heard anything notable about Ultrastar).

Meanwhile, from looking at the Yahoo movies page for my area,,it appears that the Canyon Springs, also in Moreno Valley and a former Ultrastar house itself,as become an Indian movie theatre as part of the Naz chain.
