I came across two Quonset hut theatres in one day last week: the Gem Sidney (BC) now a hardware store, and the Roxy (former Fox) Victoria still operating. And then a conversation with someone who used to go to the Cedar North Vancouver, demolished several years ago. Pictures have been sent to Adam for posting in the tours section
I have found references to some more, some operating, others closed:
Hartwell GA - Rio now Ace Hardware
St. Petersburg FL ?
Pensacola FL ?
Mattituck NY -operating
Putnam NY - Carmel Movie Theatre closed
Sebastopol CA operating in 2004

so it seemed appropriate to start a thread to assemble a list of them.

CinemaTreasures lists 36 theatres with 'Quonset Hut' as their architectural style.

There's one of these style theaters in Grayland, Washington on the coast (near Westport). It closed sometime in the 1960's from what I understand and the building is now used by the city. Never did know the name of the theater though.
