Parkside Main, LLC, in partnership with Joe Paletta of Spotlight Theatres recently announced plans to build an 8-screen stadium seat theatre at Lake Oconee Village near I-20 in Greensboro.
“Spotlight Theatres is excited to be a part of the Parkside Main development,” said Paletta. “Lake Oconee Village, located at the entrance to Reynolds Plantation, is the premier shopping and dining destination for the Lake Oconee area and the surrounding communities of Madison, Watkinsville and Milledgeville. We know patrons of Spotlight Theatres will enjoy stadium seating, online ticketing and state of the art amenities.”
The theatre will feature first run movies and is designed for comfort, Paletta said. Seats will have high backs with wide spacing between rows for extra leg room and 18-inch stadium risers for unobstructed viewing. There will also be VIP balcony seating available featuring luxury seats and private viewing areas.
Among other features of the new 8-screen theatre: online ticketing, will-call, expanded concession menu, guaranteed seating and the Spotlight Rewards program where customers earn free movie tickets and free concession items.
Lake Oconee Village is located at the intersection of Highway 44 and Linger Longer Road at the entrance to Reynolds Plantation and the Ritz Carlton. Parkside Main is a partnership between Joseph Paletta, Dan Sardella, Ed Blume and Claude McGinnis. Also included in the expansion will be an additional 33,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
